06 / Terms

Working terms.

Plain-language terms for the public site, client portal, project workspace, and files. They are not a substitute for a signed proposal or project agreement.

01

The short version

Use the workspace for your project. Do not upload material you do not have permission to share. We will use what you share to evaluate and deliver the work, not to claim it as ours. A signed proposal or project agreement controls the commercial terms for a paid engagement.

02

Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service, store unlawful material, or interfere with another client.

03

Your materials

You keep ownership of the code, content, drawings, data, and ideas you bring to the workspace. You confirm that you own them or have permission to share them. We will not resell your existing code or claim authorship of your ideas. We may use the work we create for the project as described in the project agreement, and we may show non-confidential work in our portfolio only with permission.

04

Existing code and evaluations

Looking at an inherited codebase is not a promise that we can rescue it, and it does not create a partnership or a fee obligation. If we cannot help, we will say so. Do not send credentials or production secrets until we have agreed on a secure way to receive them.

05

Files and test builds

Files are stored in a private project workspace and downloaded through an authenticated route. Test builds may be incomplete, experimental, or unsigned. Do not distribute a test build publicly or install one on a device you do not control. We may remove old builds or files to keep the workspace manageable.

06

Fees and proposals

Starting prices on the site are a range, not a quote. A proposal or project agreement sets the actual scope, price, deposit, schedule, and payment terms. Work begins when the agreed deposit clears unless the agreement says otherwise.

07

Availability and warranties

The site and workspace are provided as-is. We work to keep them available and secure, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service or that a test build will work on every device. To the extent the law allows, our liability for the free workspace and site is limited, and the liability terms in a signed project agreement control paid work.

08

Ending access

You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may close an account after a project ends, after a long period of inactivity, or for a violation of these terms. We will keep records we need for billing, tax, security, and legal obligations, then remove what we no longer need.
