Strata
One connected platform for construction: clients, contractors, crews, money, materials, tools, and weather in the same place.
Strata — 2026Strata started with a familiar mess: bids in email, material approvals in text threads, tool checkouts on a clipboard, and a weather delay discovered after the crew was already on the roof.
The platform pulls those layers into one system. Clients and contractors get their own portal. Project managers see the same job from bid to closeout. A construction-trained AI assistant answers questions against the actual drawings, schedule, and contract — and cites the clause it used. A built-in website editor lets the studio publish each client's public site without a separate stack.
It is a big system by design, but the surface stays calm. Every screen is organized around the next decision, not the next feature.
The brief
Construction work does not usually fail because one tool is missing. It fails in the gaps between tools: a missed material approval, a tool that never came back, a weather window nobody checked, a client question that sat in an inbox for three days.
The approach
We designed Strata around connected layers instead of separate modules. Client and contractor portals share the same job record. Bids, materials, and change orders stay attached to the scope they affect. NFC tags make tool check-in a tap instead of a clipboard. Weather monitoring reads the forecast against scheduled scopes and notifies the crews, the contractor, and the client before the day goes sideways. The AI is trained on construction practice and construction law, and every answer links back to the source.
The outcome
One source of truth for the whole job — from the first bid to the final walkthrough. The client can see progress without calling. The contractor can see what is approved. The crew knows what the weather is about to do.
